Introduction

i am  working as creative producers within E6 advertising company, i will do research on haribo for a specified product-type in preparation for working on an account for a new campaign for that product.

TV Advert

when analyzing the advert for haribo the TV ad and the narrative is ;Grownups in a board room talking with kids voices and saying what’s good about the haribo while talking in children voices while they lip read. they also use characters: 4 people in a board room talking about haribos

I think that they have made an effective advert because They have made it like this because its humors and it makes you want to buy haribos because is funny and it makes you remember the advert when you are going to buy them, they did the advert like this because kids and grownups like haribos too.

I then looked at what camera angles were used in the advert and why they chose those shots. they used the wide shot to get everyone in the scene. then they used a close up no the woman to try ad get her reaction and her facial expression and at the end of the advert to show you the product of what they are talking about.

I all so noticed the  Mise-en-scene and how it also helps advertise the product because it adds to the wacky feel of the advert because the people are in a board room they are powerful people because they are wearing  suits but they are talking in kids voices this suggests that its not just children the like haribos adults do to.

The Target audience is for everybody for children to adults because the  advert explains that everybody likes them and everybody is the target audience.


Sounds you can hear is only the children's voices

the analyzing Techniques they uses are humor because they use children voices  but they are adults  so its funny and because haribo try an make there adverts funny and it also is nurture because they are using children voices



Radio Advert

I then had to analyse a radio advert to see if there were any similarities in the styles of advertising that haribo  use.

The style of the radio advert was  humor Because it uses children’s voices but are telling people what they like about the product so this makes it funny and make you laugh.

The overall message in the ad was  that the makes off haribo telling us  about the product and that it’s for adults and kids too because its trying to broaden its target audience in stead of restricting it to one audience.

What types of voice/s were used in the advert? they use male and female children voices that have British adverts because its a British product  so they used British voices.

What tone of language was used? The tone of language in the advert was jokey as this blended in with the style of the advert because It use a jokey style because it uses adult but with children voices which as it says above adds to the humour.


Was there a tagline or slogan in the advert? they used their iconic logo Kids and grown up love them so happy world of haribos.

How many times was the product or company name mentioned?   they mentioned it twice once at the beginning and once at the end to remind you what product they are advertising so you don't forget what the advert is about.

Was there any contact details mentioned? they mentioned the website in the advert to tell you where you can go to get that product.


What music or sound effects were used?they used childrens voices because it adds to the humour of the advert and it makes us go aww because its cute because they're kids.


What is the main purpose of the advert?  the main use of the advert is trying to Promoting haribos to try and get you to buy the product




Why do you think the advert was good or why do you think it wasn't very good? It was very good because it uses humour to try and get you to buy the product which is very effective in advertising the product and it also uses nurture because it uses childrens voices which makes you go awww.

After analyzing television and radio adverts for haribo I then looked at the style of advertising they use in magazine and newspaper adverts.

I started looking at the writing in the advert to see what it was saying and in this case it is saying something but meaning something else And I feel that it what the slogan says hunting season is open and the picture as a hand going for the bear, but when hunting season is open in real life we hunt bears so its trying to incorporate that into this print advert.


  The brand is shown because its  showing you what the advert is and I think it is important because other wise you wouldn't know what they were advertising so you know what to look for in shops ad what the package looks like for that particular product and its prom-ante on the advert is not too big but you still want to see it .

The characters in the ad are there because it adds drama into the advert I think they chose the characters because of the slogan they used 'hunting season is open' and they are a good because its something we can relate to for example the hand is hunting the bear sweet bu in real life when hunting season is open we hunt real bears.
